Help needed Please for FTM on Vista

I have just purchased a new Vista pc and my FTM v 10 wont work on it, so where do I go now? I don't want a complicated version as I'm not very pc literate, also can anyone tell me what the difference is between FTM and Who do you think you are FTM? I'm soooo confused! Any help would be appreciated,

Don't know if this is any help, but I have vista and FTM 2006 and I had to download an update to get it to work. The update came from FTM support.

Had to do a fair bit of Googling for this one.

There were some problems with earlier versions of FTM and Vista

There's a patch available here. Dowenload it and install it.

Thanks Ron, just been on site and it says - No update for FTM 11 or earlier as support for these versions have been discontinued.We have not tested functionality in earlier versions of FTM , and we regret that we do not have the resources to do so. Because there is no windows compatability update for FTM 11 and earlier we recommend that you purchase the latest version of FTM if you plan on using FTM on a computer with windows vista.

Does anyone know the difference between FTM and the - Who do you think you are FTM, are the compatable, has anyone used the Who do you think you are version? Is it easy to use?

No difference

"Who do you think you are FTM" is the 2006 version.

Yes it seems to be the same as the 2006 but was brought out in the wake of the tv programme I guess to appeal to the new researchers who had watched said show.
