Question, I have marriage and a death certificate but will local records tell me date of birth or any other more info on a particular person??

Parish records of a marriage will be exactly the same as a full marriage certificate.

You will only find burial records, not death records and you will often just get the date of death and burial, occupation and address.

Occasionally the burial record may give the age at burial, plus a comment such as "killed accidentally" or "found drowned' - that's what happened to a couple of my ancestors - but nothing more.

Depends where/when you're looking.
Scottish records in the main give more details anyway but with some of their Old Parish Records you do get some gems

Occasionally, burial records will give a clue as to relationships, e.g. "Mary Brown, widow of John Brown" or "Sam Smith, son of John Smith". Apart from this, death certs will usually give you more info than the burial register. As stated above, marriage entries (from 1837 onwards) give exactly the same info as on the certs.
