My husbands great great grandmother was called Agnes Hesketh according to great grandfathers birth certificate he was William hesketh Norman 1882 liverpool also states father is william norman.
I have searched everywhere for marriage of Agnes hesketh and william norman but this is what i have come up with.Agnes hesketh 1st married a George Southern in 1865 st mathias liverpool ,i believe he died in the same qtr of 1865. Agnes Southern then married William Henry Norman of 1847 in sep qtr 1877 west derby ( i have just sent off for this cert but 10 day wait)

what i am trying to find is Agnes Southern/Hesketh in 1871 census but not having much luck . I have also only come up with 2 children of the Norman/Hesketh Line. My william 1882 and Flora ellen june q 1877 born before 2nd marriage ,

Can anybody shed some light on this please

I'm not sure about the Southern name, Lizz. On Free BMD a George Southern married 1865 in Liverpool but the bride was Annie Hawkes or Margaret Seman.
An Agnes Hesketh married 1865, Liverpool but the groom was Samuel Dalton or John Flynn.
