Hi Ann, Have found records for |Joseph born 1875 , married Christina Fawcus 1897 .. Mothers maiden name for Esme 1914 is Fawcus . 1901 census shows them married and living in Middlesborough with sister in law Annie Fawkus aged 16 ... Joseph is 26
Have found a marriage for Joseph Kendrick in 1920 to Annie Fawkus ,, Middlesborough ...
Do you know if his wife died and he married his sister in law ?? Just trying to get some background .. PS .. I am also assuming as Claire says that you have tried contacting the 3 people with an Esme in their tree on here ...;)))

Yes I have looked at the M/Death index and cannot find anything. I do not know where to look next as she may have changed her name. Years ago her brother phoned the pension people to see if they could tell him if she had claimed a pension but they would not give out this information. Hope you can help. Ann

I have a birth certificate for an Esme Kendrick born in Middlesbrough 1914. Father Joseph Kendrick and mother Christina . We think she may have been taken to Wales with or by a lady named Lily MacDonald. Have looked up as many records as I know cannot find any trace . I am sure someone will tell me where to look now. Thanks Ann
