Thanks Glitter Baby, they were a family involved in gravel but as you say 61 is a bit old to be working in the gravel pit. I think you are right and its leasee,so she probably cracked the whip! Thanks for helping. |

my gt gt gt granny worked at the gravel pit but I can't read as what. Please could someone good at diciphering take a look - its for Elizabeth Goldie born 1790 Sussex, on the 1851 census, many thanks |
