I thought i had put this message on Genes early this morning about 1 00am but can't find the thread, so will ask again.

Is there a Scottish site that is similar to ANCESTRY.
Scotlandpeople works out quite expensive using credits, and I couldn't find if they do a yearly payment without credits.

Also does Find My Past have access to Scottish Census and
BMD.

I welcome your tips,

Thanks Mags

Easy way to check what's on findmypast is to look at their home page.........

Ancestry have the Scottish censuses......but not the images.

No site other than scotlands people has Scottish bmd..........as far as I'm aware.

Just had a look on Find my Past and found this piece of info which looks very promising:-

Scotland Online creates world-class force in family history market with acquisition of findmypast.com

SCOTLAND ONLINE CREATES WORLD-CLASS FORCE IN FAMILY HISTORY MARKET WITH ACQUISITION OF FINDMYPAST.COM
Scotland Online, the ISP and IT solutions provider, today announced it has acquired findmypast.com, the leading independent UK-based family history website, from Title Research Group as part of its plans to establish a world-class online network of family history resources.

The merger will see Scotland Onlineā€™s current online genealogy service, ScotlandsPeople, working closely with findmypast.com to create a dynamic family history resource to serve millions of family history enthusiasts worldwide.

The amalgamation of the two websites will enable a wider audience to access the most complete suite of family history records available online in the UK and will benefit the genealogy industry by enabling genealogists and amateur family history enthusiasts to access hundreds of millions of records in one place. Scotland Online recently won the tender for the 1911 England and Wales census records, which will be available during 2009.

Also I've Bookmarked

and

http://www.sctbdm.com/

They both look very helpful

Thank you all for your help, it's just knowing where to look.
