Is there some kind soul out there with access to the bmd.I am looking for 2 marriages .1.ADA FLORENCE WELLING abt 1890 pancras london middlesex.and 2. DINAH BREADMORE abt 1843 andover hampshire eng.Many thanks in advance .steve

Hi Stephen
Found a marriage between a Dinah Bredmore and on line below Dinah Breadmore married Dec qtr 1843 Andover. ref no 7 105
Spouse looks either Robert Haberfield or Isaac Shepherd. But checking on census for 1851, it looks spouse is Robert Haberfield. Someone has done a correction for Dinah as it reads Donah.

Ada Florence Welling marriage June 1890 qtr at St Pancras ref 1b 177.
2 spouses are William Ashdon or Harry William Collings.
I would plump for William Ashden as on the census it looks as she has dropped the Ada and called herself Florence.

Hi Steve

Access to these records is free - the indexes from 1837 up to around 1920 have been almost fully transcribed onto a free searchable database at Free BMD. The volunteer transcribers are working forwards and aim to transcribe the entire 1837-1984 range of BMDs. Have a look at Diane's thread on the Record Offices board, link here:
