I've got similar problems with my tree. Its got all sorts of strange links in it when you view the whole tree - brothers 'married' to each other for example. I tried deleting parts of the tree and reinstalling them, but they still came out corrupt, so now I just live with it. When you view individual people and look at immediate family, all the links are normal. I also have the tree on ancestry and FTM 2008, using Gedcom file exported from GR, and everything works fine on these. |

Claire, I was thinking about deleting the whole lot but it would take ages to type in everyones name again and any info. about them. Having said that, I would still have to enter everything onto Family Tree Maker wouldn't I? Or would I be able to export from Genes to make it easier? I am seriously going to think about buying FTM. Is it quite easy to use? Thanks Pam |

Pam do you have software such as Family Tree Maker? Much easier to correct on there & then import you amended tree to GR |

I have absolutely messed up on one part of my family tree. I have my ggg grandmother married to her daughter and she not only has her rightful husband....but two of them. This gives my ggg gran a double lot of children (20 in all!!!) I wrote to Genes and they told me to delete, either from the top or from the bottom through "edit tools." It doesn't work. |
