When looking in the BMD registers where do they put hyphened names, in alphabetical order or at the end of a section, where? I have a Pipkin-Harding and another similar and can’t find them anywhere. |

If the name is definitely hyphenated then it should come under "P" in the alphabetical order. However some names that people hyphenate are actually just middle names, i.e. Pipkin being a middle name and Harding being the surname. You would need to look under both. Sometimes Pipkin may be the surname and Harding added if that were a stepfather's name. |
