If you know where he lived as a child/young man you could try contacting the local County Council (or Unitary Authority). |

A schoolmaster wouldn't necessarily have gone to university. I don't think any of my teachers in that period did. |

Do any of you know how I would go about finding out what school an ancestor went to? |
