I am trying to find William Haworth (sometimes misspelt Howarth) b.1873 in the 1901 census. From 1881 through to 1903 he lived at 256/258 Ordsal Lane in Salford. This was a public house (no longer in existance and I'm not sure of the name) which was firstly run by his father James (b1846) and then by him and his wife Alice Maud Eliza Haworth (b1873 m1900). As I know his children were born there in 1902 and 1903, I am certain that he must have been then in 1901. I cannot find any of them. I know James remarried (after 1891) and there was not much love lost between William and his step mother (name unkown) and that she had two children from a previous marriage (Elsie and Jimmy). I don't know if they took their stepfather's surname or what their surname might have been.

If anyone can help me or just point me in the right direct, I'd be really greatful.

Marlene and Margaret

That's them. Many thanks, I should have thought of THAT spelling!
Alice was born in Honolulu which of course is not in Asia but in Hawaii, but who is going to worry about a couple of mistakes.

Thanks again.
