Could a kindly soul look up a census entry for me please?
The man in question is Henry William Chapman born 1849 Northamptonshire. I believe that in 1871 he should be married to Elizabeth and may have new daughter called Harriet. In 1881 he was living in London, St Pancras.

This is a possibility - there are a couple of Henry Chapman's of that sort of age in Northants.

Just spotted the Harriet reference - it must be him then. I'll check address etc.

address is 123 Gladstone Buildings. Henry is a commercial clerk.

Louisa Word is wife's grandmother - formerly a ___ bonnet maker.
