Can someone explain the RG, piece, folio etc to me. If I know the information ie numbers, why can I find the family on one site and yet not another? Surely, the numbers refer to the census form and should therefore be searchable on all genealogy sites? |

They should in theory be on all sites, but I know that sometimes on Ancestry when you search with the RG numbers, Ancestry brings up the wrong image. Human error I suppose when scanning the records. |
