Please don't be put off from searching, but I would not hold out too much hope in finding anything official as few deed polls were then, or indeed even now, enrolled. |

My grandfather born in 1888 aparently changed his surname by deed poll prior to his marriage in 1915. No idea when as I only have birth & marriage cert to go by and also the little my Mum can remember. Has any one any ideas as to how (or even if) I can trace this. Unfortunately I cannot get to Kew archives. |
