	Hi Lynn I do believe he was from Pyrton, Oxfordshire, i do not have his parents so i thought the baptism record might give me these. Thankyou Rose

	Hi Rose Someone on the Records Board ('Oxford Record Office' thread) is offering lookups over half-term, so you might be lucky there. I seem to remember someone else offering lookups from their Oxfordshire discs, so that would be another lead to follow. Good luck! Helen
