Kathlyn Report 11 Feb 2008 11:31

I have the marriage cert for my 2xgreat grandparents, James Mawdsley & Ellen Barlow, 1849. They are both of full age. He names his father as George, a labourer, and his occupation as a porter.

. In the 1851 census he names his birth place as Kirkby, Lancashire, born abt. 1822, but am having dificulty in finding him in the 1841 census as I do not have any parent/sibling info to go on.

A pointer in any direction gratefully received.
