I have a birth certificate but the address is really hard to read. Any help would be appreciated. The birth was in 1898 and is Abercrombie Cottage, Daunport or Dounpoot, (I know the D, P, 2nd O and T are right, Ayr, Scotland.

Would you believe I have a copy of the address on two separate documents and they are both really bad.

To Reggie and Blossom,

Many thanks. Definitely from the Birth Certificate that could be right it was just that on some army reccords the F looked like a P but I think your right. Thanks again.
