Not sure Shirley as on her marriage cert she is just down as Alice Nye, but we all know how much our ancesters like to add and drop names. lol. |

There is this Alice Nye on the 1901 census. Although it says her parents are Christopher and Jane, going by their ages I would think it is more likely she is a grandaughter:- |
