I was speaking to friends Mum today about family history and she needs help with parish registers for Liverpool/Lancashire.
As I have no rellies in that area I have no idea what is available online, she hasn't got the chance to visit RO.

I have found the obvious online site - Lancs online parish clerks.

But are there any others that may help her??

Many thanks Shelli

She didn't say, just mentioned Lancs and Liverpool. Was quite a hurried conversation as she was talking to someone about a birth cert (they was holding it) so I was being nosey!!!! Once she knew I was doing my f amily history too she asked a couple of questions etc but said she was stuck in early 1800's. So I said i'd ask on here

Hi Shelli

I contacted Liverpool records office and they were very helpful. I sent an email and about a week later they emailed back asking for my address to send some baptisms they had found. As the baptism records were quite poor they didnt charge anything not even postage

Hi Shelli

If the search heads up to Ulverston or the Furness area, contact me direct with name(s) and approx year dates and I'll see if I have anything useful for your friend.
