Is it possible to search for ancestors through an address?

I have just received the marriage cert of my gt grandparents Alice Lewis and Charles Rogers.
At the time of their marriage in 1877, they were both living at Bilston Road, Wolverhampton, Staffs.

I have managed to trace Charles through censuses, but am stuck on Alice.

Her father is Samuel Lewis (a puddler??) and I can't find him either!!

Can anyone advice?

Have you found the couple in 1881 for an idea of birth place for Alice?

How old is she when she married in 1877?

Address search can be done on 1881 on Ancestry and IGI.

Findmypast address search can be done on 1841, 1861, 1871 and 1891.

1901 can be searched on National Archives
