I've seen a couple of instances of it, one that I thought was an ancestor but turned out to be a wrong turn. |

I was helping a friend with her tree the other day and she was surprised that some of her ancestors married in Christmas Day. |

One of my ancestors was baptized the same day as her father was buried. I am sure the vicar asked if all the children had been baptized while he was organising the funeral . and then did a catch up job. |

I am sure I read somewhere that this happened, particually in smaller parishes & rural areas because there was no residant vicar / priest & they only visited the church at certain times of the year & for funeral services. |

Yes, I've got a similar one and another where the child was baptised the same day that his father was buried, Angela |
