I would like to connect with anyone researching the Reids from Prestonkirk, East Lothian. I start with Thomas born about 1720, son Thomas 1743, son Alexander 1789, Alexander 1816, Alexander 1850. There were many tailors in the family and lived at Brown's Place Prestonkirk in 1841. Hepburn Reid moved to Nottingham, Eng, and Alexander 1850 moved to Edinburgh where he raised his family. Sound familiar to anyone?
