Hi Doreen
this is the marriage ref.
Dec 1/4 1923, Huddersfield
9a 707
Wilfred Allott Beatrice Woodhead
i have looked at census too, but nothing jumping at me, there are 2 Beatrice Woodheads, but both born in 1885, not 1895, 1 was born in Holmfirth the other in Huddersfield.
so with details from marriage certificate, might be able to pinpoint them better

Hi Emma
too big a task i'm afraid, the indexes are not searchable, so i would have to sit & trawl through 4 quarters for each year from 1922 - 1954.
thats 128 pages !!!!!
i have no objection to a couple of years either side, i would need an area to work with too.............

Hi Jane,
Can I ask for a lookup in the marriage index. Bit of a Strange one but can you please look for all Lily Smy's between 1922 and 1954. There shouldn't be that many hopefully as it wasn't a common surname. I can't seem to find her marriage to someone and was wondering if she was married before and had a different surname when she married the person I know about.
Hope you can help, Thanks, Emma

Could any one out there help me find Thomas and Margaret Moroney who came to Australia, not sure of the year or ship but my grandmother was born in Newcastle (Australia) in 1889. I am still searching the ausralian records. Dont seem to be able to find a marriage certificate for them. I have found 4 children so far and I think a death notice for Margaret Moroney but not for Thomas. I think they were catholic. Margaret maiden name was Rourke

Hi Theresa
Births Mar 1920 -------------------------- Clark Alfred mmn = Weston, Lewisham 1d 2937
Births Mar 1918 ----------------------- Clark Alice M mmn = Weston, Lewisham 1d 1539
COULD QUITE EASILY BE MABEL, ALICE MABEL!!
do you know Mary Elizabeths father s name? might help to narrow census records down, there are quite a few of them !
same problem with Thomas, without knowing exact birthdate / place...... was hoping i would find him with wife no. 1 in 1901, an occupation might help to narrow that one down!
Jane

Hi, Thank you, hope you can help. I have been trying to find out about my grandfather, Thomas Clark He was born c1872 & his father was a, William Clark c1845. Thomas married, dont no who, but she died I was told. He then married my nan, Mary Elizabeth Weston (c1893-1972), she died in Lewisham Hospital, London. Between them they had four children, Mabel,Alfred, William & George (only one surviving, George). Thomas & Mary lived in Forest-Hill, London & he had 2 or 3 shops in Dartmouth Rd, Sydenham (now Forest-Hill), one was a wire worker the other possibly as a grocer. After Thomas died? my nan, Mary, married a John William Marnham, known as Jack, he is the only grandad I know from my dad`s side. My dad is, George Clark, born Feb 1925 in Sydenham, London, still living, married to Rita janet Clark, born 1929 in july, still living. They had three children, 2 girls, one boy, I am one of the girls. Maybe looking up Mary Elizabeth Weston would be of some help, I dont know.
I have been trying to find out about Thomas for about three years & come up blank every time. If you can help, that would be absolutely fab, I can then pass on the info to my dad, who so wants to know befor it is to late.
Thank you for you time & wait in anticipation. Kind Regards Theresa
