am afraid i use Ancestry who don't have an address search....

BUT

the official 1901 census site does have an address search....... if you find out who is living there, i'll be able to get to it that way..... then i can view the original sheet & email it to you if you like.

Hi Jane,
Yes I have the marrige cert. of David william Smith & Sophia Hall 2/11/1885, both aged 19.
It say's David a skin dyer(a Carman when my nan was born)(a porter when my nan married) & it's just blank where his father's name should be.
Sophia's father is John William Hall a labourer.
Shouldn't David had someone's permission to marry being only 19?
Can I have the detail's of David as I think they must have been in workhouse as never been able to find them together.
It is Sophia I am fascinated with, she must have had her children with her even if they are in workhouse, Rosina my nan born 8/3/1889, don't know date's of sibling's but Mary Sophia,Elizabeth,Dolly,& a boy Sam.

Trying to Find details of William Griffiths born 1841 in Letterston Pembrokeshire and his wife Mary Griffiths born 1843 Letterston Pembrokeshire and their son David Griffiths 1863 Letterston
I have found them on the 1871 1881 1891 1901 in the Rhondda South Wales, Census but cant find any record before that time or cant find David Griffiths birth certificate.

Yes I agree with the rest of the family, it make's sense.
I can only assume David has left her & she is in workhouse with children or some sort of church mission or something.

hi jane i dont know if you could help om this one iam looking for a marrage between alfred davies and janet de capon ,,janet 1st married in 1911 to alburt hart in east preston 2 children born in 1912 and 1914 ,i dont know if hart divorced janet ,the story go,s that hart went to war she thought he had been killed and took up with davies and had 5 poss 6 children the davies 1st child was born i think in 1916 in pontypridd (i have sent for birth record to confirm this all the other children were born in othery somerset ,,i have to day sent for the marrage cert for hart and de capon to try and trace her back as we have been told by family that she was french ,,if you could find a marrage for de capon and davies i would be most grateful ,,as it look at mo the children were born out of weddlock ,,thanks for any help jane gardner
