Can i ask for a lookup please. This could be a tricky one. I'm looking for a Henry Dunford born in Yeovil, Somerset 1867 in the 1891 and 1901 census. I found a possibility in the 1901 census although I haven't gone into it yet as i'm not sure its the right person. In the 1901 census there is a Henry Dunford born Bath, Somersetshire age 33. I have checked BMD and I can't see another Henry born in Somerset around that time so its a possible but was wondering if you could check 1891 and this one in 1901 and see if they are one and the same person. Lol, drives me crazy when theres no proper place of birth to connect someone. I think it has to be as there are from what I can see absolutely no other Henry Dunfords born in Somerset around that time. Thats definitely him in the 1881 census you found and thats the last I have of him. I also haven't found a possible death for him which would explain him missing. I'm assuming that maybe as he was in Bath on the 1901 census he just put that as his place of birth, god knows why, lol. As for the 1891 census I haven't got a clue where that place is, lol. I'd have to say that they are both him, I think I will go and check there are no other Henry or Harry Dunfords.

Hi Jane,

I've had a look and we have only one other Dunford which is a Harry born in 1867 in Wincanton, Somerset and I also have a death of a Harry Dunford in 1897 in Shepton Mallet which I think is the same Harry. This isn't my Henry so I think that the Henry's you found must be him.

Lol, sorry, think I confused you, the Harry I said died in 1897 was a different Harry to the one you found. I found a Harry born the same year as my Henry, so I followed it through and noticed the other Harry had died in 1897 and realised that the Henry you found in 1901 must be my Henry as I eliminated the only other possibility.
