Wow, Debbie, thanks for the quick response! Like you, I'm not sure this is my family... but as you say there is room for a 15 year old. Wouldn't it just be typical if Joseph was absent that day! I not sure how you search the 1871... Although Joseph was born in 'Middlesex, London' by 1881 he was married, working as a paper maker and living in Kent. I guess he could have been in Kent by 1871 - but who knows?! Thanks anyway for your help! With best wishes, Linda

Hi Deborah If you get a chance, please could you have a look for Joseph DUTTON. He was born in 'Middlesex, London' but I have no idea where in Middlesex!! In 1871 he would have been aged 15, hopefully living at home with his father William and ...??? Many thanks!

Hello, would you mind looking for a Patrick Banks, should be residing on Woodstock street in Liverpool. I would also like to trace his daughter Amelia Banks who married a Thomas McDermott in 1870 - should also be living in Liverpool. Any help would be much appreciated. Gill Hindley

Hi Denise, Just did general blanket search here for Chevallier, felt both names were highly likely to be mistranscribed! Only 2 families on 1871, so far, in Jersey! 2 Chevalier's bn France living in Twickenham (husband & wife) Debbie

Please will you look for my great-great-grandfather Edgecumbe Chevallier in the Pembroke Docks area, Pembroke, Wales, born around 1827. I need to know where he was born and to confirm the year. Any details of his family or others at the same address would be wonderful. Thanks. Denise Wawman.

Hi Deborah Thank you so much for offering your help. I'd like a look up for Edward Kemp born 1845 in St Donats Glamorgan please. He married Mary Rees in june 1871 so hopefully you will find him living with his parents who might or might not be William and Mary Kemp. Thanks again for your help. Debbie

Hi Marion, Still no luck. Gravesend is Kent, so if they were still there in 1871, it hasn't been added yet. Debbie

Hi Deborah. Only a quickie if poss. Would you have any details on the household of George Brain. Born 1843 in St. George Bristol. He married a Julia Brain, sorry no maiden name, and would have had a 3-4 year old son by the name of Alfred George by 1871. Any info would be great. Thanks very very much. Dave. Bristol
