Could you please see if you can find any Harrises (looking in particular for a Charles Harris born about 1820) or any Hogarths (John born circa 1785 and his son George born 1811)? Many thanks Helen

For MICHELLE in HASLEMERE: 1811 Hackney - Simon Coventry of Cottages, Lawrence Buildings, Labourer. I can't do 1821 as don't have that part of alphabet. There are none in 1831 Census.

For LEON WILTSHIRE: No Wiltshire's to be found anywhere/anytime. Arnold's in Hackney 1811:- Brick Fields - a Brickmaker Dalston Place - a Watchmaker Lark Row - a Carpenter Stamford Hill - a Carpenter But none of these have initials or details of households. 1821 - Blank Arnolds in Hackney 1831:- Arnold A - North St (south side) Cambridge - 2 Farriers Arnold John - Park St Dalston, 7 persons, 1 Wholesale Druggist Arnold John - Baileys Lane Stamford Hill, 1 Carpenter & 2 Farm Labourers

For SHIRLEY HASLAM: 1821 Hackney - H SIMPSON of Grove Street, Carpenter. Household of 2 males, 2 females 1851 Shoreditch - Listing isn't much help, as has sparce info. Old Town has 4 Simpsons & 3 Glovers but no initials etc New Town has 3 Glovers and 11 Simpsons but no initials etc.

1831 Thomas Butler is in Grove Street, Hackney - a labourer living alone. 1851 There are 5 Butler Households in Shoreditch - Sub district Hoxton New Town, but it gives no details of any of them. Hope that's of some help.

1811 - RINGROSE, William of Castle Street - Labourer 1821 - RINGROSE, William of Henry Street - Labourer. Household was 3 males, 4 females . No other families in the same property. I also have 1831 on CD - RINGROSE, William of Henry Street, Kingsland. 10 people in household and he is still a labourer. I do hope that's the right family, despite the spelling!

Hi Hilary If you could find anything on the name Ringrow in Hackney i would be most grateful. I know Charlotte Ringrow was baptised at St John's Hackney in 1811 but that is all i have so far. Many Thanks Sharon Reeve
