Hi Rick Many thanks for your kind offer. Please can you check out a Charles Hudson for me - born c1803 at Stamford. If it's the right one he might be married to a Rebecca Smith from Picksworth. They had a son called William born Easton. I had a quick look on thesite and found mention of one who had father Benjamin Hudson adn Ann Hardington or Hardingham. Anything you can tell me about siblings of William and anscestors of Charles would be great. Only check English ones as I know they didn't go to the States. Many thanks Jenny

Hi Jane, If I just put the names in, I could get a lot of matches against trees that our American friends have uploaded. Is that what you are after, or am I looking for census information ? Can you narrow things down a bit for me - dates & area would help. Have you found any specific matches for these names ? Rick.

Thanks for looking Rick. Unfortunately they are not the family I'm looking for. My Charles was born (I think) in Stamford. His son (my great grandfather) was definately born in Easton Lincs. Someone found him on the 1851 census and I think I've found his marriage to Rebecca Smith on Ancestry. I had hoped Kindred would verify that and also add a bit more info. Many thanks Jenny

Hi Jenny, The site predominantly has American data on, so not surprising. You never know when you might get a lucky break though. Have you tried the IGI ? Found this: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- CHARLES HUDSON Male Family ------------------------------------------------------------------------Event(s): Birth: Christening: Death: Burial: ------------------------------------------------------------------------Marriages: Spouse: REBECCA SMITH Family Marriage: 27 NOV 1834 Pickworth, Rutland, England Rick.

Hi Rick The last one is the one I'm looking for! Is the IGI the LDS site? If so, I tried that and only found date of their marriage. I also tried freeBMD and came up with nothing. Is that all the info you found on them? Jenny

Hi Jenny, Yes the IGI is on the LDS site. Click the Search tab and then choose IGI Records on the left hand side & away you go. I have found well over a hundred relatives births and marriages on there. If you're lucky, you can go back centuries. Rick.
