Ok, thanks for all your help Elaine, live in London so dont think trip up to Derbyshire can be on the cards at the mo - but maye when I get some holiday time!! Any other suggestions about where I could look in the meantime? Juliana x

Julianna .. The Derbyshire 1851 Census isn't out yet... but as soon as its available I will grab it ! .. and let everyone know I'm doing lookups. You would need to go to the Records Office in Matlock, Derbyshire to view the census on Fiche... if your really eager ! Elaine :-)

Could you please do a search for the Wilson family from the Chapel en le Frith / Bugsworth area of Derbyshire. The only two people I know of for definate are - JAMES WILSON born c1798 (Taxal, Cheshire) and his daughter ANN WILSON born c1829 (Chapel en le Frith) Again, thank you so so much, Juliana xxx
