Hi Linda You're not kidding, those Dunns have gone off in the spaceship,no sign of them anywhere unless they have been very badly mistranscribed. Sorry Mary

Hi Mary I wonder if you could check the 1871 on Ancestry for me? I am looking for Annie Bays (middle name Victoria), born 1859-60 in Essex (maybe Canning Town). She should be 12 possibly 13 on the 1871 and living in London. She had a sister Mary Ann who would have been 19 in 1871. I think that she may have left home by then and would be working as a domestic servant. If there are any possibilities for Annie I would be most grateful. Thank you so much for your kind offer. Lynne

Hello Claire The reason Wootton is not on the Oxon 1861 census is because the enumerators books for the Woodstock registration area have been lost and there is no info available for 1861.Unfortunately Wootton was in the Woodstock area. Regards Mary

Hi Mary, Im sure it was yourself that said that Wootton wasnt on the 1861 oxfordshire census for some reason, is that right? Desperate to know what happend to my Alfred Johnson in that year, he should have been with parents William and Mary in Wootton that year. If it doesnt exist, would you know how to get info on Alfred it all, if there is away that is. Thanks in advance, Claire
