Hi Shelia Thanks for the offer Looking for Eliza RETALLIC b1822 Cornwall (Illogen?) and was living in Dowlais Glam between 1860 and 1891 then I have her in Workington. She was also known as RICHARDS married to a Thomas Richards who died i think in the 1860's so I'm not sure if she reverted to her maiden name or remarried be she died a Retallic. Had daughter Eliza Richards who married Evan Davies in Dowlais in 1868.(I know all about them) Retallic is a mystery??? Many thanks Brian in Lancs

Hi Sheila Please could you do a look up for me on the 1891 Wales census, to see who Rachel Tarr Born 1888 Glamorgan was living with. Thanks for your help. Kind regards Nikki

Elaine Report 19 Feb 2005 11:30

Thanks for trying Sheila, yes its poss she could have remarried but i suspect that she changed her name to plain Rose or something similar. As for worthy he was probably mis - transcribed ( was hoping Ancestry 1881 would be easier to spot him than LDS 1881). Thanks again, Elaine x.

Denise, I cannot find his birth. The 1871 census has 2 Williams, both born in Penn. First is 40 lodging in Cookham, the second living with his family in Penn. Any more clues?
