Adam- these are the age they were in 1901. Ada Wicks age 45 is his mother Annie Wicks aged 18- his sister Arthur Wicks aged 9 his brother Bert Wicks 13 Frederick Wicks aged 17 - another brother George Wicks aged 42 - his father Horace Wicks aged 8 - another brother

Adam , this is the same family just one in 1891 and one in 1901. the place name change is called a mistranscription. We'll have to hope he married early for it to be on ancestry

any idea if he was married by 1901? was he realy a 'Bert' - or Albert or Herbert? any idea where he was born? Otherwise, did he have brothers and sisters jess

My Great-Grandfather is/was Bert Wicks. He was born in 1885 and lived in Luton. I do not have the name of his wife, and wondered if anybody might be able to help??? I'd really appreciate it if anybody could find a lead. cheers
