If Dorothy was born 7/11/1918 she was 10 in 1928, 20 in November 1938 and 30 in November 1948 .... which means in Jan 1948 Dorothy was still 29. Has your family stayed in Luton all this while ? Dancer x

Adam. you are not being cheeky at all. Hopefully, even though i cant help do the actual look up that dancer and Chris are doing for you, then at least i can maybe help you to learn - and i dont mean that to sound patronising at all - You know more than you thought you did and have answered, and found out things, to help those that are looking. although i guess you are actually quite young..yes..? Adam, Are you thinking that Dorothy was DEFINATELY born 7th November ... 1919 and NOT 1918. Some folks can get the year of birth WRONG ! even on Death certificates. The information on Death certs is given by someone who knew the deceased ... but maybe they didn't know 100% when they were born. My own Mothers death certificate gives her WRONG date of birth, and her husband gave those details. He was upset at the time and couldn't think straight ! Bear this in mind ... Even the person themselves lost a few years on their age whilst growing old !! Dancer x

Adam- if Dot was born in 1918, we would normally guess them to have married before she was born. do you know otherwise? jess
