REPLIES Gillie - re Heavens - I searched for variations of this name in Lidiard Tregoze, Wootton Bassett, Liddington, 5 Tythings and Highworth and there wasn't even one!! Sorry. Marion - re Gibbs and Strange. There were no Strange in Highworth, but there were some Gibbs families. a=number in house emp in agriculture. t=number in house employed in trade, manufacture or handicrafts u=unemployed (inc young children): 1811 GIBBS Asher 1m, 2f, 1a, 2u GIBBS Charles 2m, 1f, 2a, 1u GIBBS John 1m, 1u GIBBS Richard 3m, 4f, 2a, 1t, 4u GIBBS Robert 1m, 1f, 1a, 1u All except the first family were living at East Tything. Asher's family did not have their place of residence recorded. June - re Partridge at Calne. Unfortunately I don't have any records for Calne, so don't have any data for you (see the list of parishes on page one) Debi - Thanks for your earlier message! Sarah

I don't have any records for Highworth and the parishes I do have are not indexed. Sarah, My great-grandmother Elizabeth Keynes or Kaynes was born in Westport St. Mary, Malmsbury,17/11/1833, married Joseph Bell 12/9/1953 in Bistol, & sailed from Plymouth 6/10/1953 to Australia. I would much appreciate anything you can find on this family. Yours, Dorothy.

Sarah Thank you for looking for Brewer in Chiseldon. They moved there from Chippenham, perhaps later than the dates you have. I have a marriage there in 1793 and children born there after that date. Margaret

Hi Sarah Would it be possible to look up the name COMLEY in Cliffe Pypard. I have two census telling me that my relation either born there in 1820's or Broad Town. Just wondering whether the name pops up earlier. Many thanks Anna
