Hi Maurice, didnt realise they were brothers! Have looked them both up and have double info!!! If you send me your address I can pass it on. The info only goes up to 1901 so wont have their wives and children on. Just their siblings and parents. Laura x

Hi Laura, Could you look up a family for me in the 1891 census - Samuel Hockaday(1856) born Tavistock Devon, wife Ann (1857) & daughter Emma (1889). I've been trying to find out what happend to Emma, because she always seems to be living with other people, but in the 1891 census she's only 2, so hopefully I'll find her at home! Westmoreland is / was between Lancs and Cumbria I am trying to ascertain if the JAMES STEAD is the same James Stead born c 1829 to Betty and John Stead. In the 1881 census James Stead aged 58 is with Rebecca Stead aged 60 and shown as coming from FEELY FONDSDALE Westmoreland - I think this should be Kirby Lonsdale. He is in West Ham as Licensed Victualler. I am sure its the same one So can you find him in other census's
