Hello Pippa Can you look up the name Fennisman in Canada please. My grandmother was married to a Fennisman ( Muriel Body) from Devonport in 1917 and as far as I know she went to Canada for a time with him they had a daughter. Regards Angela

Hi Pippa I would be very grateful if you could look on the 1911 Census for Horace Henry Kerley, who was born in 1881 at Southampton, Hants. He was living in Canada by 1911. He may have been living in British Columbia, because it seems that he died there in 1950. Many thanks, Jane

Hi Barry, Couldn't find any marriages at all for an Albert Bromley. I thought it might be an idea to look at the births for children of Albert Edwin Bromley, as this would tell us the name of Alberts wife. Two results came up: Name Birth Date Gender Birth County Father's Name Mother's Name Thomas Vincent Bromley, 24 Nov 1895, Male, York, Albert Edwin Bromley, Alice Woodward Remington Booth Rimmington Bromley, 23 Apr 1898, Male, York, Albert Edwin Bromley, Alice Woodward Rimmington If you'd like the images of the births, PM me your email addy and i'll send them over. Pippa :0)

Hi Maud, There were no Charles Herds on the census, but there was a Charles Heard: Birthplace: Ontario Tribal: English Province: Ontario District: Peterborough West Sub-District: Smith Household Members: Name Birth Year Charles Heard, Birth Date: Sept 1871, Ontario Thueseipa (sp?) Heard bNov 1872, Ontario Francis Cephas Heard b.Feb 1897, Ontario Charles Heard b.May, 1908, Ontario May Heard b.May 1899, Ontario Ella Heard b.April 1901, Ontario Laura Heard b.March 1903, Ontario Jessie Heard b.Feb 1905 Ontario Couldn't look for this Charles birth as the records on Ancestry only go up to 1907, so i looked for his siblings. Found Francis in 1897 and Ella's in 1901. Father on both is Charles F Head, but the mother is listed on one as Euretta Carr and the other Annie R Carr. There was one other Charles Heard on the census living in Qu Appelle, Saskatchewan - born 1900, England, Mother Amelia. If you'd like any of the images of the above, PM me your email addy and i'l send it all over to you. Pippa :0)

Hi Danielle, Looked for both of the families you asked for but unfortunately i couldn't find them. With the Lemnack's, there are alot of pages in Winnipeg that are so faint you can't make out the names, only their ages and birthplace of Austria, so ti could well be that unluckily your Lemnacks are there! Sorry i couldn't help Pippa :0)

Hi Pippa, I winder if you can help me. I am searching for the birth of my mother`s cousin, who I think may have been born in Ontario, I am not sure about his surname I never saw it written, only heard it in 1948 when he came on a visit, but it sounded like Herd -Charles Herd or could be spelled Heard, I do not know who his mother was, but am hoping that if I can find his birth I can then find his mother. If he was born before or in 1907 (he may have been, he looked to my eyes in 1948 to be of age with my mother) He would also then be on the 1911 census, if its not asking too much, could you look for me, thank you. Maud

Hi Pippa I am desperate!!! I dread to think of the hours I have spent searching the 1911 on the Canadian Library site, and found nothing, yet I know they are there somewhere would appreciate if you could take a look for me. The 2 families I am after are: Family #1 Peter and Anna GRUND (both born in Temesvar in Romania/Hungary) They arrived in Regina Saskatchewan in 1904. Peter was born 1868 and Anna c1875. Their children's names were Max, Anna, Peter, Eva and George. Family #2 George and Anna Lemnack (aka Lamneck and Laennek) George was b. 1871 in Austria, Anna b.c 1878 Austria. They lived in Winnipeg for a few years (up until about 1912) before moving to Regina Saskatchewan. They had 2 children Rudolph (aka Rudie) and Josephine. Both born in Austria c 1897. Thank you Danielle
