Ancoats. Samuel Boardman - Brewery hand - 4 South st. Hulme Mrs Sarah Boardman - beer retailer - 209 Rochdale rd. Blakeley Also found; Boardmans Brewers - 45 Canning st. Ancoats. Hi, I'm not sure if you can help but i am trying to research Boardmans Brewery in Mancheater (Ancoats area) . I was wondering whether any Boardmans are mentioned in this type of trade. They have owned many pubs in the greater Manchester area . Would love info on 5 Fredericks & Hugh please. Is there an Edward O'Brien in Manchester at this time please? He had brothers John, Peter and sisters Catherine,Sarah, and Rose Ann. There parents owned a Grocers or Tea Merchants. Patrick & Sarah O'Brien (Patrick died 1860's and wife Sarah took over then until 1890's wondering if their children carried on after them?
