Traced them back into Lancashire (late 1500s) and later into Elland/Rastrick/Cleckheaton/Huddersfield in West Yorkshire in 1800s. Possible links with Grassington area. Common family Christian name Jonas. Also interested in Durrans (Spen Valley & Huddersfield),Chadwick (Huddersfield) and Biggs (Yorkshire) -
