I am STILL interested in all REIDs and MURDOCHs from Kilbarchan Parish in Renfrewshire from any time period including the present. Mine were known to live there from at least 1740 (and likely earlier) through 1800 (and likely longer). My direct line of REIDs left Kilbarchan approx. 1800 to go to Duntocher, Dunbartonshire and then to Canada in 1841. However, portions of the family stayed in both Duntocher and Kilbarchan. I am presently stuck at 1740, so I would greatly appreciate info and any/all Reids and Murdochs from Kilbarchan for any time period. Through sheer mass of data, I should be able to build families and figure who's mine and who isn't.... Thanks, Bob Ferguson |
