Hi I am trying to find any background/relatives of my great grandfather John Reid born around 1893. The only information I have is he married May or Mary Snaddon Morrison on 16/4/1919 in Glasgow. On the marriage certificate he is listed as an Army Pensioner age 26residing at 6,Wardlant Place all though it is difficult to make out in Edinburgh. His Father is named as John Reid also a labourer and Mother is Mary but I cannot make out the maiden name Parents of May (Mary)were John Morrison Coal miner and Isabella Swanson. John and May or Mary Reid had at least 1 child born in 1920 called Isabella Reid in the Dunbarton area. If you think you may have any information please contact me. |
