Member Since: August 2005 Posts: 5 Send Message	JAMES FERGUSON REID Born Scotland c1839 Died 1877 in Plymouth Devon Married to Ann Hartnell Collier of Plmstock He was an artillaryman in the army and his father was Thomas Reid - a labourer. The Ferguson part of his name is important as most of his descendants have Ferguson in their names. Family history says he left the army in disgrace following a fight with a senior officer but I have not been able to prove this. Many thanks - Sue Reid
