Hi Everyone I am thinking laterally here...... so please bear with me. Up till now I have only looked under the name Read. I have my Read ancestors as READ. Charles born 1821 St Pancras Chichester to George and Jane Read. Although in the 1841 census the name is recorded as REID. Other possible sibs of Charles: Rebecca Elizabeth and Ellen (twins) Alfred James Charles remained READ throughout the rest of my tracings but it may be possible that the others names were down as REID (I think Elizabeth who died at 7months approx was buried as REID). Does any of this fit with any one please. I have been stumped with Charles for a long time. Thanks Vicky |
