Hi Andy here, I had some great help from this page however I need some more, I found my Great Grandfather Alexander Reid via the 1891 census for Kirkmichael, Perthshire, unfortunatly there is no reference to his parents or him on the 1851 census, his father must of come from another area of Scotland, I have tried searching for Alexanders Birth Cert in the hope I can get his fathers details etc, from that but have had no luck at all any one have any ideas where to go from here and how to continue searching beyond 1851?? many thanks, Andy.
