I am still looking for any information about John Henry Reid, born Liverpool c1849. He married Margaret Chown and had three daughters, Eliza Letitia, Margaret Evelyn, and Florence Sybil, and one son, my grandfather, Charles Henry Reid. John Reid was a ship's carpenter who left his ship in Melbourne, Aus, and never returned to his family. John's father was James Reid. I have no information about him at all except that he may also have been a carpenter or joiner. Any help would be appreciated, however small. I have checked two from the freeBMD site but neither was correct. |
