Hello, I would be delighted to hear from anyone who has information on my 'REID' family. Here goes..... (!!) My gr, gr grandfather was William Alexander Reid - a retired boiler maker born in Banffshire, Scotland (14 Feb 1864). He married Euphemia Ann Reid (nee Grant), born Elgin, Scotland. They had at least one son that I know of... Arthur John Reid - he was born in Balmain, Sydney, Australia (19 June 1893) - he was my gr grandfather. I beleive that Arthur John may have had a sister by the name of Lillian - however I have no details. Arthur Reid married Hannah Reid (nee Boyes) in Brisbane, Australia - approx 1918. They had 9 children - Joan, Wesley, Alexa, Thelma, Valerie, Vivienne, Robert, Alison, Jocelyn. There is a family connection to Sir George Houston Reid (4th prime minister of Australia). As yet I am still trying to find the link. I look forward to hearing from you. Sara
