I have a Daphne Mary Bennett born 1936 MMN Bailey ( also a sister June, born 1931) whose parents could be Arthur E Bennett and Mabel B Bailey who married September qtr 1927 at Hammersmith in London, I cannot find anything about Arthur and Mabel and wondered if anyone out there can help. This is for a friend who does not have any information about his family background. Thank-you Teresa.

Sorry about lack of info, friend said his Mum had a sister called June, the other I looked for a connection and all I could find was a possible marriage for Arthur and Mabel.

Hi, managed to find out that his Grandparents were called "George" and Mina, so Grandad must not have liked the name William and called himself George! So ArgyllGran had posted some information which helps somewhat. Again thank-you to everyone who contributed. Teresa.
