Member Since: May 2008 Posts: 98 Send Message	Thank you all so much I was told there was Italian in the family this didn't make sense to me so I started looking .Mary Ellen Seymore is my grans mother she died when gran was one her mother was Ellen Hickey.who married William Seymore That's where I am lost so I thought maybe Ellen Hickeys mother's maiden name could help .I agree with the Irish my great grandad Wade married Mary Ellen Seymour he was Catholic and came from Liverpool .

Member Since: May 2006 Posts: 6,666 Send Message	There is a 1850 census for Manchester for an 8 year old Ellen Hickey, daughter of Thomas and Bridget. Both parents born in Ireland all the children born in Manchester. But she is living with her parents in 1860
