I am looking for a little help. A friend is struggling with research.
Mothers name - Gwendoline M Phillips born 1935.
Her mother believed to be Leah phillips nee Jordan.
On researching the Death I have found 2 death records, one for a Leah Phillips and one for Lillian phillips - the odd thing is they are registered on the same day, in the same place with the SAME registration number and both ladies are aged 70. This cant be a coincidence.
any one else come across this?

Probably just a case of uncertainty about the forename - and both were recorded

All of that matches. The family believed her to be Leah, but it looks like she was officially Lillian. Might make it easier to trace a birth. The only other time I have come across this is when twins died on the same day in an accident. But, on that occasion I could trace births.

As for Lillian and Albert....he know no more than their names and that they lived in Stepney all their lives. But both died before he was born and both gwendoline and her husband have also passed.
