Looking for a any info,especially prior to 1900 on a James Fairley, born c1855.
His son James Hance Fairley appears to be born in Barrow-in-Furness in 1882.James (senior) appears to be born in Clontagullion (Townland) in County Down,Northern Ireland c1855.He seems to appear on the 1881 census at 187-188,Brick Cottages,Barrow-in-Furness ? Can't find a marriage,although he seems to have married a Mary? (I will have to order his sons marriage certificate).Can't find him on 1891 census.In 1901 he's with his wife & family at 126,Buccleuch Street,Barrow-in-Furness,but by 1911,he's widowed,unyet,I can't find his wife (Mary) death record? Any info would be much appreciated,thank you.

Maybe he married Mary in Ireland

There’s no birth reg for a James Hance Fairley

The sons marriage certificate won’t give any details of the mother, but the birth certificate will name her. Or you can find her maiden surname only via the GRO website.

I couldn't find it his birth either.Just going off the censuses I have..
