	The marriage/banns records don't give his father's name, so it's impossible to know who his parents were - unless the baptism posted by Maddie is his. The 1841, 1851, and 1861 censuses give the range of birth years you mention. His stated age at death could fit with the 1795 baptism: MILLS, JOHN 68 GRO Reference: 1862 J Quarter in SEVENOAKS Volume 02A Page 243 However, as neither John nor Charlotte could read/write at marriage, may he (or the informant) wasn't sure of his DOB. EDIT: No, wrong death. Died Dartford, see later posts.

	He was living in Dartford in 1861, but I don't see any record of his death in Dartford 1861-63. This could be his death: Deaths Mar 1868 MILLS John 77 Dartford 2a 207
